BBQ Chicken Recipes


Spice coated Chicken Drumsticks, cooked and slow roasted in the hot pan scraping up the juices with a smoky twist.
This is one of the easy and delicious ways of preparing chicken in Indian style.

Ingredients for smoked chicken drumsticks:
– Chicken drumsticks (around 6-7)- 500 gms
– Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
– lime juice- 1/2 tsp

For Marination:
– Whisked curd/Yogurt- 1 cup
– Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
– Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
– Kashmiri chilli powder- 1 tbsp
– Coriander powder- 1 tbsp
– Salt- as requried
– Refined oil- 2 tbsp

– Wash and pat dry the chicken drumsticks. Make one slit on each of the drumsticks.
– Whisk the curd/yogurt and add the other ingredients to make the mix.
– To marinate the chicken, arrange the drumsticks in a bowl and add the ginger garlic paste and lime juice. Next pour the Curd-Masala mix on the top of the drumsticks and give a mix to coat them well. Cover and set aside for around 1hr.

– Heat oil in a grilled pan and place the drumsticks side by side.
– Fry on medium heat for 2 mins and flip it on the other side. continue to fry it on medium heat for another 2 mins and then flip it and lower the heat.
– Keep frying it and turning it every 2 mins to roast it evenly.
– Now apply the ghee on both side. And fry for another 2 mins.
– Repeat the same on the other side.
– Serve hot.
