1. ஒரு பாத்திரத்தில் சிக்கன் துண்டுகளை எடுத்து, அதில் உப்பு, மிளகுத்தூள், காஷ்மீரி மிளகாய்த்தூள், பூண்டு, எலுமிச்சை சாறு மற்றும் கொத்தமல்லி இலை சேர்த்து நன்கு கலந்து ௩௦ நிமிடங்களுக்கு ஊற வைக்கவும்.
2. அடுத்து ஒரு க்ரில் பேனில் எண்ணெய் தடவி, இதில் ஊற வைத்த சிக்கன் துண்டுகளை போட்டு நன்கு வேகவைத்து எடுக்கவும்
3. வெந்த சிக்கன் துண்டுகளை 2 – 3 நிமிடங்களுக்கு ஆற விடவும்
4. ஆறிய சிக்கன் துண்டுகளை சிறு துண்டுகளாக நறுக்கிக் கொள்ளவும்
