today you guys we’re gonna show you howto make easy pulled chicken in theinstant pot let’s jump into it wellwelcome back to snow dogs cooking whereif I can cook it you can too if you’renew here don’t I’vebeen trying to think of some meals thatwere easy and cheap for people to maketoday I am going to show you how to makeinstant pot pulled barbecued chickenwhich you could also turn into buffalochicken if you really want to the nicething about this is you can make a lotof it take the recipe I’m giving youdouble it or triple it and you canfreeze it it actually freezes reallywell so if you get chicken at a discountand you have up of a whole bunch youwant to use throw it all in there andthen portion it out freeze it and you’llhave meals for the next couple of weeksif you want to so anyway let’s get in tomakin some food and as always we haveour 2 beautiful helpers here in thekitchen with us to make sure that wedon’t do anything wrong and to make sureto clean up anything that we drop on thefloor so as I said this is a super easysimple recipe I’m gonna show you exactlyhow I’ve always made it so basicallyyou’re gonna need about 2 pounds ofchicken I choose to use bonelessskinless chicken breasts you can usewhatever type of chicken you want aslong as it ends up being about 2 poundsyou’re going to need some Italiandressing yes this is not somethingeverybody uses for their pulledbarbecued chicken but over the years Ihave found that it is the best way to dothis and then your barbecue sauce ofchoice mine is open-pit original I don’tknow if everybody can get this stuff butthis is my favorite barbecue sauce sothis is what we will be using as ourbarbecue sauce again use your barbecuesauce of choice and of course you willneed an instant pot if you do not havean instant pot what are you doing withyour life this I’m gonna be able to makethis so fast it’s gonna blow your mindof course there’s also a little cameramagic in there instant pot you don’thave an instant pot and you do have aslow cooker you can always put yourchicken in the slow cooker for about 6hours on low using the same directionsthat I’m going to be giving youfirst things first take your chicken andplace it in the pot look how easy thatwas just put it right in therenext can I do this one-handed let’s findout we are going to use one full cup ofItalian dressing for our two pounds ofchicken and again as I said if youdouble this and you do four pounds ofchicken use two cups of Italian dressingso one full cup don’t spill it I did itpour that right in there now I know Isaid you only needed the chicken and theItalian dressing but you can always adda little bit of black pepper as well ontop of the chicken just a little bitgive it a little bit of extra flavor andas always place your lid on your instantpot put it on manual for about 10minutes and just let it gothese girls are like we’re alreadysleeping mom that was way too easy youwill get a bite of chicken after it’sall done what do you think of that I’mjust gonna nap in the kit yeah justnapping you’re the best little helpersever keep my feet warm clean up all mymesses yeahbest little helpers ever so the 10minutes is up now we are going to letthis thing naturally vent for fiveminutes which means just let it searuntil your thing says five minutes on itand then we will vent it alright I letmine go a little bit longerturn it oh look it’s all vented let’sopen it up remember open the lid awayfrom you so the steam doesn’t go intoyour face get that now I’m actuallygonna pull the chicken out of here anddump the juice out and then put thechicken back in and take a fork andshred it into pieces also for those ofyou that want to make sure you can alluse to use a digital thermometer makesure your chicken is to at least 165degrees so that it’s fully cooked I hada couple of breasts that were a littlebit thicker so I just wanted to makesure look at that steam so like I said Itook the chicken out I drained theinstant pot I didn’t clean the bottom ofit I just drained it now I’m putting thechicken back in and I’m gonnatake two forks and I’m going to pull thechicken I don’t know if I can hold thecamera and show you that at the sametime but I can try whooI can time to do it so basically we’rejust gonna take some forks I had to putit in this bowl so I could show you guysand we’re gonna start to pull this apartit should pull apart it’s nice and niceand juicy that’s for sureit should pull pull apart fairly easilyso just start doing that with all of thechicken so this is about what you wantit to look like when it’s all pulledapart you want it to be nice littleshreds of chicken little shreds ofchicken all right one small bite for youand one small bite for you that’s allyou get it has a little bit seasoning onit so you can’t have a whole bunch of itbut you got some chickens all right I’mgonna go ahead and pull the rest ofthese apart all right we got the chickenall pulled now I’ve put it back in theinstant pot as you can tell we’re gonnacoat it in some barbecue saucehow much cup two cups remember you canalways add more to your sandwich addthat in there stir it all rightonce everything is all nice and coatedwe’re gonna put the lid back on thistime we’re gonna hit slow cook which ison here super here slow cook not forhourslet me get the timer on this aboutthirty minutes on low that’s just gonnabring everything back up to temperatureand cook that Barco sauce into it alittle bitwhat are you smelling all that goodnessyou guys had some chicken you had some Isaw it it’s in about 30 minutes that’llbe nice and warm again so after about 30minutesit’s gonna lose focus cuz it’s steamingthere we goit’s all done let’s make a sandwich andthere you have it I lightly toasted thebun pile it right on there now if you’relooking for a good southern style pulledbarbecued chicken you’d want to add somepickles to this and possibsome coleslaw and I swear don’t knock ituntil you try it I do like having minewith pickles on it right now I just havea pickle on the side though but that iswhat it is gonna look like all finishedoh my gosh it smells amazing and Icannot wait to eat this whoo so we’rehaving pulled barbecued chickensandwiches smells delicioussome I don’t know what that it’s buttersauce corn yeah I was one of them frozenthings tater tots he’s building thisplate he’s gonna give
