EASY AND DELICIOUS LEMON MARINATED CHICKEN BREAST RECIPE | HOW TO COOK A CHICKEN BREAST OVEN BAKED

This is a super easy and delicious chicken marinade. Your chicken will be super moist and juicy. Weather you bake it in the oven or grill it this marinaded chicken is ready to go.

RECIPE
1-2 fresh or frozen chicken breasts
2-4 tsp of olive oil
1 lemon
1 clove of garlic or garlic powder whatever you have on hand is perfect.
1/4 tsp of salt
Mediterranean herbs for the top or whatever herbs you have on hand that will go with chicken.
Bake @ 450* between 15-25 min depending on size of chicken breast. Chicken is fully cooked and done when the chicken is at 165* inside the chicken. If you have a thermometer you can put it in the thickest piece of the chicken to make sure it is done. let rest for 10 min before cutting. My chicken breast was quite large so I needed to cook it for 25 min.

youhello everybody welcome back to healthyfood girl and if it’s your first timehere welcome I’m Shawna I’m healthy foodgirl and I’m so glad you’re joining ustoday so on this channel we do amazingfoods that you want to eat but what wedo is we make them healthier for you andyour family they’re super deliciousthey’re super easy and we hope that youwill enjoy all of the videos that wemake and if you do hit the subscribebutton so you know when our next videois coming out we do videos weekly soyou’re definitely gonna get a new videoevery week if not more in this videotoday I’m gonna show you how to marinatea boneless skinless chicken breast Iknow I knowchicken breast can be dry and don’t haveany flavor but they’re super good foryou so what I’ve done is I’ve created amarinade that’s gonna be super fast anddelicious for you to make at home that Iknow that you’re going to love you canput it on a salad you can eat it byitself there’s endless options to whatyou can do but the best thing about thischicken breast is it adds a ton offlavor it’s going to be so moist sodelicious that I know that you’re gonnalove it and you’re gonna want to try itat home now let’s get into our chickenmarinade video and don’t forget tosubscribeso first what you’re gonna want to do isget a container that is leak proof supersuper important then what you’re gonnado is get a lemon and cut it in half andsqueeze the entire lemon into thecontainer if there’s any seeds in therego ahead and scoop them out the nextthing you’re gonna do is add some oliveoil I like to use about two teaspoons ofolive oil so I’m going to put that intomy dish now now I’m gonna go ahead andadd some salt I personally like to useHimalayan salt but you can use whateverkind of salt that you like you’re gonnasprinkle that on the bottom and cracksome pepper in there too garlic powder Ican’t tell you how much I love garlicpowder I’m gonna put some in there cuz Ididn’t actually have any fresh garlic onhand so I’m gonna use some garlic powdera lot of garlic powder because I lovelike the thing with this marinade that’ssuper important is you want to marinateit overnightnow I’ve grabbed my chicken breasts outof the freezer and I’m going to go aheadand stick them in here I want to flip itover and do both sides to make sure thatthe marinade gets on both sides of thechicken breasts it’s going to go anddefrost in the refrigerator overnightbut I definitely want to make sure thatI’ve coated both sides of the chickenwith the marinade before we do that thenext thing I’m going to do is put someMediterranean herbs on top if you don’thave Mediterranean herbs you can putwhatever herbs you’d like to put on ifyou have some Italian herbs that wouldbe great or if you don’t want to use theherbs at all personally I just felt likedoing that but the options are endlessnow that I’ve gotten my chicken out ofthe refrigerator it’s the next day andit’s defrosted I’m going to take it andlook how great this looks it’s beenmarinating for a day all the flavors aregoing into the chicken breast I cannotwait to eat this I’m going to go aheadand put it on my sheet pan and I’ve usedsome parchment paper because I don’tfeel like cleaning the pan that way Ican just throw the parchment paper outwhen I’m done I’m going to preheat theoven to 450 degrees and I’m going tocheck my chicken at 15 minutes it cooksfaster when the oven is hotter the onlything you have to be mindful of is ifyour chicken breast is big like mine isyou’re going to need to cook it a littlebit longer I ended up having to cookthis chicken breast for 25 minutes checkout how beautiful that looks and I madethis incredible salad to go with it wealso have a playlist of salads thanks somuch for watching this video we reallyhope you enjoyed it if you did make sureto hit the subscribe button right hereclick here to watch another one of ourvideos and click here to look at all ofour salad videos where you can find aperfect salad just for you like the onethat we paired with this chicken thanksso much for watchingkeep cooking
